Inspired by "Brittany Runs A Marathon"

Marathon is such a challenging but so amazing goal to accomplish whether it's your first marathon or next PR marathon. Several days ago I have watched an incredible movie "Brittany Runs A Marathon" and it reminded why I love running and why marathon is my favorite distance.
Brittany's story resonated with personal running story. I wasn't a runner and hated running for a big part of my life. Starting running was quite challenging for me, though I gave it a try in order to lose weight (click here for my full running story). Setting little goals at a time, like run a block or just a mile, is a good way to start.
Brittany set a huge goal to run New York Marathon. Along her running journey she made new friend and learnt that in order to reach goals you need to be committed to the process and prioritized what is important. She had to skip some parties make more healthy choices, lose a friend who were distracting her and putting her down.
Marathon requires discipline, patient and commitment. Training always has to be well-balanced in order to stay injury free. If you fail, you have to get back on track with patience and without rushing the process and sometimes it means that you will reach your goals later than you planned to. Marathon is hard, but through the person of training for it and after finishing it you are becoming and whole new person, who are so much stronger and more confident. So dare a dream and dare to try!
